Which model should I pick?

Seedance 2.0 for native audio, resolutions from 480p to 4K, and clips as short as four seconds. Seedance 2.5 when you need a single take up to thirty seconds, or up to thirty reference images — it caps at 720p and costs more per second. MiniMax H3 for 2K output and unusually stable subject motion. All three support all three modes, so trying the same prompt on each is cheap.

What does a clip cost?

Credits track the GPU cost of the render, so they scale with pixels. On Seedance 2.0 a five-second 16:9 clip is about 68 credits at 480p, 152 at 720p, 341 at 1080p and 778 at 4K. Seedance 2.5 bills the same way at a higher rate — about 103 credits for five seconds at 480p, 232 at 720p. Squarer framings cost less than wide ones at the same resolution. MiniMax H3 is a flat 26 credits a second at 2K, whatever the aspect ratio.

What happens if a render fails?

The credits go straight back to your balance. Failed jobs are never charged, and the task stays in your library with the error attached so you can adjust the prompt and try again.
