Introduction

Video Gen Now ("we") turns text prompts and images into video. This policy explains what we collect when you use the service at videogennow.com, who we pass it to, and what control you have over it.

Information We Collect

1. Account information - your name and email address, plus the password hash if you sign up with email. Social sign-in gives us the profile fields the provider returns.
2. Prompts and uploads - the text you type and any image you upload to animate. These are stored with the resulting render so you can find them again in your library.
3. Generated video - the clips produced by your renders, together with the model, aspect ratio, duration, and credit cost.
4. Usage data - which pages you open, which models you pick, and render success and failure, used to keep the queue healthy and to plan capacity.
5. Device information - device type, operating system, and browser, used for compatibility and abuse prevention.
6. Payment information - handled entirely by our payment processor. We store the order record, plan, and amount. We never see or store full card numbers.

Where Your Prompts Go

Rendering happens on third-party model infrastructure. When you submit a render, your prompt, your starting image if you supplied one, and the render settings are sent to the provider that hosts the model you picked. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to that processing. We do not send them your name, email address, or payment details.

How We Use Your Information

• Run and deliver the renders you request.
• Charge and refund credits, and keep an auditable ledger of both.
• Keep your library available to you.
• Send transactional messages: receipts, security notices, and support replies.
• Detect and stop fraud, abuse, and attempts to generate prohibited content.
• Improve the service. We do not use your prompts or your generated video to train our own models.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Model providers - prompts, uploaded images, and render settings, as described above.
• Payment processors - to take payment and handle refunds and disputes.
• Infrastructure and email providers - hosting, object storage, and transactional email, under confidentiality terms.
• Public authorities - when required by law or to respond to a lawful request.

Retention

Renders, prompts, and uploads stay in your library until you delete them or close your account. Deleting a render removes it from your library. Credit ledger entries and order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after the related render is deleted.

Data Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Provider credentials stored in the admin settings are encrypted at rest. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected users about a breach that puts their data at risk.

Your Rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal information from your account settings, or by contacting us. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to certain processing or to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes are reflected in the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects you, announced through the service.
