Terms of Service

The rules for using Video Gen Now: credits, ownership of renders, and what you may not generate.

Last updated: 2026-08-02

Acceptance of Terms

By using Video Gen Now at videogennow.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the Service Does

Video Gen Now takes a text prompt, and optionally a starting image, and returns a short video generated by a third-party AI model. Available models change over time. We may add, remove, or replace models, and may suspend or discontinue parts of the service, giving reasonable notice where we can.

Accounts

You are responsible for your credentials and for everything done under your account. Tell us straight away if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.

Credits and Billing

  • Renders are paid for in credits. The cost of a render is shown before you submit it.
  • Credits are consumed when a render is queued, not when it finishes.
  • If a render fails, its credits are returned to your balance automatically. A render that completes is charged even if you dislike the result.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance for the selected period and renew until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
  • Credits granted by a plan refresh each billing period and remain usable while that plan is active.

Ownership of What You Generate

Subject to your compliance with these terms and to your plan including a commercial licence, you own the videos you generate and may use them commercially. We claim no ownership over your prompts or your renders.

Two limits are worth stating plainly. First, AI models can produce similar output for similar prompts, so we cannot promise your render is unique. Second, the copyright status of AI-generated material differs between countries and is still settling. If your use depends on holding registrable copyright, take your own legal advice.

Content You May Not Generate

You agree not to use the service to create:

  • Sexual content involving minors, or any depiction of a minor in a sexual context. This is an immediate and permanent ban.
  • Sexual or intimate imagery of a real person without their consent.
  • Content that impersonates a real person in order to deceive, including political deepfakes and fabricated statements attributed to real people.
  • Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or likeness rights.
  • Content that harasses, threatens, or incites violence against a person or group.
  • Content that breaks the law where you are, or that violates the terms of the underlying model provider.

You are responsible for the prompts you write and the images you upload, including having the rights to any material you upload.

Enforcement

We may review renders where abuse is reported or suspected, and may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. Credits attached to a terminated account are not refunded where the termination follows a breach of the content rules above.

Model Output

Generated video is produced by statistical models. It may be inaccurate, may not match your prompt, and may contain artefacts. We provide it as is, make no promise about fitness for a particular purpose, and are not liable for decisions you make on the basis of it.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Render times depend on third-party model infrastructure and queue load.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes to These Terms

We may change these terms. Material changes are reflected in the date at the top of this page and, where they affect you, announced through the service. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
